Another one of our beautiful handcrafted shepherds huts located in the peaceful country side of Cornwall.
The shepherds hut is been specially designed and built for the Airbnb industry and is got all the amenities you will need.
Being one of the biggest huts we build, at 6m long, benefits of large double doors so you can enjoy the views even from the comfort of the bespoke built bench with storage and is very spacious inside as well. . Shepherds hut has a standard double bed with Ottoman mechanism with plenty of storage under it, a fully functional kitchen with a very cute Baby Belfast sink as a center piece and lots of cupboard space for all your cooking needs plus an integrated microwave oven/grill.
Also got a fully functional bathroom almost entirely handcrafted by us from reclaimed materials and salvaged timber. At 900x700mm wide the shower feels very spacious with easy access through the bi-fold doors. Also the bathroom comes fully equipped with all the accessories: shelves, shower basket, towel/robe hooks, toilet paper holder, mirror and a towel rail to keep you towels warm while you're enjoying your shower.
Almost all the interior is been handcrafted by us from reclaimed materials and very carefully put together to achieve this unique look without compromising on quality and maximizing the space. Lots of hours and effort have been put into calibrating and sanding down hundreds of pieced of reclaimed wood to achieve this unique finish.
The bed frame and dividing wall is made from reclaimed scaffold boards, all the kitchen fronts, walls and ceiling cladding from reclaimed pallet wood, bathroom furniture from reclaimed scaffold boards and salvaged wood, the sitting bench from reclaimed scaffold boards......and we didn't stopped there with using reclaimed products, even the fabrics for the sofa are made from recycled plastic bottles.
The hole hut is built on a very solid 4x2 treated structure with 4 inch of Celotex insulation all the way around, all the membranes, ( breathable on exterior, and double vapor barrier on interior) and also double skin structure. Also got solid oak doors and windows around with double glazing so the hut is very solid built and very well insulated. To keep things cossy inside we covered all the floor space with underfloor heating that is plenty to keep you warm even on the coldest winter nights.
