THE SUNNYSIDE Hut
Another handcrafted shepherd's hut located now in Ipswich at Wheathill Camping site.
One of the biggest ones we do, at 6m long and 2.4m wide, the huts benefits of big double doors and large oak windows all the way around so you can enjoy the beautiful countryside views.
This one is design and built to cover all your needs from an aorbnb.
Like all our huts, this one got a very solid 4x2 frame behind that is very well insulated all the way around ( 4 inch Celotex) and well ventilated due to double skin construction. Also double glazing all the way around and underfloor heating to keep it nice and cozy all year round. All covered with metal corrugated roof with plastisol paint finish that will last for years.
As you can probably tell we love recycling and the reclaimed wood....so we covered almost all the interior on it. All the ceiling and wall cladding is made from reclaimed pallet wood.....the bed, bench, bathroom furniture from salvaged scaffold boards....door fronts from reclaimed pallets.....Lots of hours went into calibrating and sanding down every single individual piece of wood to achieve this beautiful finish.
As we love reclaimed wood and materials this huts interiors is also completed in our signature style now with lots of reclaimed pallets and scaffold boards used everywhere.
Fully functional bathroom...with an amazing wooden basin and all handmade furniture, spacious shower and shelves to store the towels. We also added a small but efficient towel rail so you have nice warm towels after you enjoyed your shower.
Very decent size kitchen with a very cute Baby Belfast sink as a center piece and lots of cupboard space for all your cooking needs plus an integrated microwave oven/grill. Also hidden inside cupboard you will find the water heater and the electrical unit. And you can enjoy a dinner with a view as is fitted with a large breakfast bar (or office desk ) at the font of it (120x40cm)
Standard double bed with Ottoman mechanism to access to storage under and there's also more storage under the sitting bench so no space is wasted. Fabrics for the bench cushions are also made from recycled materials, plastic bottles more exactly.
All our huts are fitted with caravan style sockets and all plumbing is easy accessible under the hut and ready to connect so everything is just plug-and-play.
