The meadow shepherd hut

Shepherd Huts are traditionally a functional shelter in isolated areas. The Meadow Hut was designed to recreate this with small windows, cosy interiors and an olive green roof. The mod cons like hot showers and fridges were a slight departure (and improvement) from the traditional here. 

This Meadow Shepherd Hut built by Cobut Woodcrafts has been installed next to a peaceful lake in Kent, a quiet oasis of morning mists and lazy afternoons.

From the colours of the paint to the finish on the work surface we thought about what would work best to mirror the neutral colours of the exterior but still add character inside.
